Join An Earth Day Inspired Virtual Open Day with GVI This April

We’re hosting an Earth Day inspired Virtual Open Day on Saturday 24 April 2021! In honour of Earth Day this April, we’ll be focusing on the importance of sustainability. There is no plan(et) B, so join us to hear more about the many ways you can be part of the solution. We will be joined by experts in the fields of sustainable wildlife conservation and ethical community development, staff, and past volunteers, all of whom will be sharing their experiences and answering your questions.

  • 13:00 -13:45 – Everything you need to know about GVI – with Brooklyn (GVI staff)
  • 13:45 – 14:15 – Community development in Ghana – with Matthew (GVI staff)
  • 14:15 – 14:30 – Expert insights; Why conservation efforts are now more crucial than ever – with field expert – with Zoe (GVI staff)
  • 14:30 – 15:00 – Conservation (field guide training) in South Africa – with Marie (Bushwise staff)
  • 15:00 – 15:15 – My experience volunteering on a GVI conservation project (Talk by past participant)
  • 15:15 – 15:45 – Virtual internships; How to make an impact remotely – with Nicole (GVI staff)
  • 15:45 – 16:00 – Final word – with Brooklyn (GVI staff)
